Sledding Mt Hood

Looking for the perfect place to sled with the family? Mt Hood’s slopes are a ton of fun for all ages. Bring your own sled to a sno-park, or just bring yourselves to Skibowl’s snowtubing park. Check their website for cosmic tubing after dark! Parking permits are required at sno-parks from November 1 – April 30. Pick one up at the Hood River Ranger Station, just off Highway 35, on your way up the mountain.

Hiking Mt Hood

There’s something to discover on Mt Hood in every season. Even the ski resorts are alive in the warmer months. While Ski Bowl offers ziplines and go cart racing in the off season, skiing continues at Timberline with an extended ski season due to the elevation.
